RUNDINAVIA – BOOK UPDATE
For a while now (roughly two and a bit years to be precise) I have been boldly claiming that I am writing a book about Rundinavia. And GOOD NEWS. I am still writing. I have currently written two thirds and a couple of initial proof readers have given me good feedback. Hopefully this will be the year.
To encourage myself to write I will simultaneously be working through some changes to the website – so that it can become an interactive tool to boost the experience of reading the book. This should allow me to have a referenced photo archive – alongside an interactive map of all the places I visited – so that if you take a fancy to something mentioned in the book – you know where to find it. Look out for changes and fingers crossed a first draft will be finished soon!
NEW YEARS DAY – SUNRISE ON SNOWDON
For the past year, home life (BORING) and other commitments (not so boring) have meant that I have not been able to get outdoors quite as much as I would have hoped. However, this NYE we decided to do something about it and head to Snowdon. You can read all about it – once I have written the post – here.
Our Iceland trip didn’t necessarily go quite as we’d hoped it would – but it was one heck of an experience nonetheless.
Read a day by day account of how it went here.
